Drilling and Rock Drilling Equipment: Underground mines primarily use rock drills, drill jumbos, and multi-boom hydraulic drill rigs to drill blast holes in preparation for blasting. During the shaft sinking phase, Wanfeng's FJD shaft sinking jumbo is commonly used. Available in 6-arm, 8-arm, 9-arm, and 12-arm configurations, this equipment is powered by compressed air with hydraulic transmission. When deployed, the arms spread out to drill blast holes at the shaft bottom; when retracted, it can be easily lifted and lowered through the narrow shaft. It can drill blast holes, drain holes, exploratory holes, and grout holes.
Loading and Mucking Equipment: After blasting, the broken rock must be removed promptly. In shaft sinking operations, the center-rotary grab loader is the primary equipment for mucking, grabbing the broken rock at the shaft bottom and loading it into buckets. Wanfeng's center-rotary grab loader is a core equipment serving this stage.
Hoisting Equipment: During the shaft sinking phase, the shaft jumbo drills blast holes, the grab loader loads broken rock into buckets, and the hoist lifts the buckets to the surface for discharge; the sinking winch suspends work platforms, formwork, air ducts, pumps, and other equipment; and the integral moving metal formwork is used for shaft wall concreting. During the production phase, cages transport personnel and materials, while skips are used for ore hoisting – both relying on mine hoists or hoisting winches.
